Case: ODM Collection for a New Zealand Label - From Concept to 800 Dresses

A contemporary fashion label from New Zealand, with a strong focus on clean, wearable designs for the modern woman, engaged ZGYESE's ODM services to develop their debut formal wear collection, as they lacked the in-house design capacity to create a cohesive, production-ready range of cocktail and semi-formal dresses, and they were seeking a partner who could translate their broad brand vision into tangible, marketable products, and we were thrilled to take on this creative challenge, and our design team began by immersing themselves in the client's brand identity, studying their mood boards, color palettes, and inspiration references, and after several collaborative brainstorming sessions, we proposed a collection of eight versatile dress styles, including minimalist midi dresses, elegant slip gowns, and chic wrap dresses, all using high-quality, wrinkle-resistant fabrics suited for both travel and special occasions, and we presented them with detailed design sketches, fabric swatches, and cost breakdowns for each style, allowing them to make informed decisions about the collection's composition and pricing, and the client was delighted with our proposals and after a smooth sampling process where we perfected the fit and details of all eight styles, we moved to a bulk production order of 800 pieces, and the entire process, from initial concept to final delivery, was handled with professionalism and clear communication, and the resulting collection was a resounding success for the New Zealand brand, earning them significant press coverage and a loyal customer base, and they have since returned to us for multiple additional seasons, solidifying our role as their trusted ODM partner for their growing business.
